Hello World!

So I’ve been told blogging is the way.  But, here’s the thing, I’m a visual artist, words just aren’t my “thing”.   Grammar, spelling, sentence structure, they all make me shudder and my mind spin.  I’m pretty sure I slept through all of that in school, or I doodled…..

****Side note here…As I look at the words, all I can think of is; how can I make them look prettier…should I use italic print, maybe bold them…or better yet change the color.  See, words aren’t my thing….making something look pretty..now you’ve caught my attention!

So with all that being said, I guess we’ll just get to the heart of the matter.  My name is Pam, and I work with Stained Glass, Photography, oil paints, chalk pastels.  I am a Artist.  This wasn’t something that I prusued as a young adult, but a gift that I rediscovered along the way.  Thank you for joining me as I bump along this road.

Dancing on the town square.

When the artist is alive in any person, whatever the kind of work it maybe, he becomes inventive, searching, daring, self-expressive, and creative.  He becomes interesting to other people.  He disturbs, upsets, enlightens, and opens ways for better understanding.  Where those who are not artist are trying to close the book, he opens it, and shows that there are more pages possible.”  Robert Henri
